OVERVIEW
According to data compiled by Global First Aid,
- As many as 150,000 Indians lose their lives each year in precarious situations where first aid could have prevented their passing.
- It is estimated that 325,000 people per year in India die from sudden cardiac arrest.
- Participants in a Basic First Aid / CPR course will gain familiarity with topics like incident assessment, spotting the warning indications of an injury or sickness, and more. Furthermore, it covers first aid skills in CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), as well as essential information such how to handle an unconscious casualty who is breathing regularly.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Learners will go away from the course
- Knowing what it takes to be a first responder in an emergency.
- Write up the steps of calling (Emergency Numbers like 100, 101, 102) and getting injured people the care, they need as quickly as possible.
- Display the steps involved in a scene and main survey.
- Show that you have what it takes to deal with a casualty who is either responsive or unresponsive.
- Prove that you understand the value of utilizing an automated external defibrillator (AED) and can demonstrate how to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) (Automated External Defibrillator).
- Exhibit the skills necessary to handle and aid a victim with severe injuries or illnesses.

This class can also be given in-house, with a maximum of 15 participants per session if prior arrangements are made.
