COURSE OBJECTIVE
This course is designed for all crane operators who are interested in learning more about crane safety on construction sites, as well as how to establish complete crane safety plans that are compliant with safety programs and are tailored to a particular project.
The purpose of this training is to increase participants’ awareness of the duties, responsibilities, and influence that crane Operators have in relation to the overall safety of the construction site, particularly crane safety. Crane operators will be better prepared to use their management and technical training to integrate safety as a fundamental objective of the construction/maintenance/service project if they take part in the Crane Safety Training course that is supported by ASCE and CI OSHA.
The curriculum will also include high-level technical background, legal and regulatory explanations, as well as expert advise on how to properly engage with all participants on the project, from the owner to the subcontractor, in relation to crane operations.
