PRIMEHSE Training and Consultancy Private Limited has made it its mission to guard against and uncover instances of fraud, bribery, and other forms of business corruption. PRIMEHSE’s policy is to enforce commercial activities without resorting to corruption or bribery, and to do business with the highest ethical standards possible.
Intent and Coverage:
All consultants, employees, casual workers, contractors, agents, and others involved with PRIMEHSE in India are bound by this anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy.
The Definition of Bribery and Corruption
A bribe might take the form of money, gifts, favors, or promises of future gain. Bribery, whether direct or indirect, is supposedly against the law. Any item of value, such as a present, an evening out, the promise of a job, a charitable donation, etc., could be considered a bribe.
Bribery and patronage are two root causes of corruption. Corruption is defined as the practice of dishonest or illegal behavior by someone in a position of authority, whether that authority is bestowed upon an individual or an institution.
To what extent is this unacceptable?
Any PRIMEHSE employee who:
- Promises to give, offers payment or hospitality to secure, gifts or entertains an improper businessadvantage;
- Promises to give, offers payment or hospitality to secure, gifts or entertains a government agent,official, or representative to expedite or facilitate a routine procedure, is in violation of PRIMEHSE’s code of conduct.
- To take any form of remuneration, benefit, hospitality, or gift from a third party with the expectation that you will use it to advance that party’s commercial interests;
- Engage in conduct that results in a violation of this policy;
- Threaten or retaliate against an employee who has shown no desire in committing a briberyoffence or who has raised any concerns under this policy;
- The custom of giving and accepting gifts and hospitality is an integral aspect of any successfulbusiness. Yet if they take the shape of bribes, they are categorically forbidden. A gift or hospitality that involves cash or cash equivalent that could be construed as unethical or criminal should be refused to prevent the commission of such a crime. A present or act of hospitality must be reasonable under all conditions.
Unauthorized payments made to speed up a standard procedure are known as facilitation payments or kickbacks. Kickbacks are remunerations made in exchange for a favor in business. You must refrain from doing anything that could lead to the payment or acceptance of kickbacks or facilitation payments.
When making donations, our business will follow all applicable laws and regulations. No contribution should be made that goes against this procedure in any way. How to express a worry.
PRIMEHSE encourages all employees to report any concerns they may have regarding any potential malpractice or bribery issues as soon as they become aware of them. Anyone with questions about whether or not their behavior constitutes bribery or corruption can contact Prime Healthcare Services’ human resources department at md@primehse.com.
What to do if you suspect bribery or corruption has occurred to you.
If you are ever offered a bribe, requested to make one, or suspect that you are the victim of any kind of corruption or illegal conduct, you must report it to the HR staff at md@primehse.com immediately. Any such case calls for an explanation of our zero-tolerance bribery and corruption policy, as well as a clear communication that our refusal to engage in corrupt practices is definitive and cannot be negotiated. If you are having trouble saying no, you should talk to human resources.
