Step 1 – Identify the training needs of learners
- Understand the profile of our ideal target learner
- Assess learners for literacy, numeracy, and language skills
- Analyze the training need, whether it is for the development of knowledge, abilities, or skills
- Prefer learning modes that suit learners such as classroom, e-learning, or blended program.
Step 2 – Plan and create prepare the list of tasks
- Identify the learning outcomes, prepare a session plan, ensure adequate training facility is organized, and select suitable resources according to the profile of participants
- Ensure the health and safety of all participants, with special attention to be given to vulnerable groups such as the specially-abled, pregnant, and nursing mothers.
Step 3 – Teaching and learning
- Use inclusive learning techniques
- Follow the structure, method, introduction, and content to ensure that the learning outcomes are met.
- Ensure active participation by all and provide appropriate learner support as per the initial assessment.
Step 4 – Assessment
- Assess learners through formative and summative assessments.
- Encourage learners to assess themselves and through peers besides tutor assessment.
Step 5 – Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Compare and plan regularly during the training delivery.
- Monitor required outcome versus actual outcome. The performance measurement report from delegates, trainers, observers, colleagues, organizations and boards are gathered to improvise in the future.
Step 6 – Record Keeping
- As a part of the quality assurance process and also a mandatory regulation from awarding boards and regulatory authorities, all documents are securely maintained until 2-3 years under stipulated conditions and if required they will be disposed of securely.
